Introduction
It has long been a tradition for innovative audio brands to create their own trailers to showcase their innovations to the public through unique images and sound.
Following the footsteps of our peers from DTS, THX, Auro Technologies, and Dolby Laboratories, the Team at Trinnov has been focused for five years now on creating unique clips for home theater enthusiasts and music lovers to enjoy.
In this quest, we reached out to some of our most talented and innovative friends and partners to push the envelope a little further and continue on the legacy left by our pairs.
This collection of clips, now played in commercial theaters, reference showrooms, and at trade shows around the world, showcases what a high-performance immersive sound system can achieve, whilst revealing potential acoustic or loudspeaker limitations.

Why did we decide to produce immersive sound trailers?
For five years now, we have been producing immersive sound trailers that demonstrate their commitment to quality and high performance.
Our intent with these was not only to showcase what truly immersive sound can be, but also to challenge the limits in terms of surround mixing and bass reproduction.
Additionally, we wanted to offer a blank canvas to innovative visual artists and sound designers, whether they are creating the sounds and visuals or placing them in an immersive theater.
Trinnov is all about quality and high performance, so is our content
Trinnov is present from production to reproduction, which is why we produce content with our clients in the pro world for our clients in the residential and commercial sector. So these trailers showcase Trinnov's involvement from production to reproduction, often in collaboration with pro audio partner

As our name implies, we stand for Tridimensional Innovation, and immersive sound is in our DNA. Our trailers are always reaching for impeccable immersive soundtracks and extensively use objects.
With high goals in mind in terms of spatial reproduction and use of objects, these trailers make for great reference tracks for anyone to evaluate their system's performance, as well as simply to enjoy their theater with friends and family.

Being responsible can also be fun !
One of our primary responsibilities is to ensure that our clients can calibrate their systems in the best possible manner and push the limits of audio performance.
We have already provided the best toolbox, and we have also provided the required reference material, so why not provide everyone with the best testing material ?
As for example, Les Dieux has become our absolute reference for low-end and rattle testing. It enables us to evaluate a sound system’s capability across the entire low-frequency range. Isn’t it better to assess it this way than with a sweep in REW?
As well, by providing all of our trailers in the 3 main immersive formats (Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D) and as DCP files we offer everyone to test decoding and rendering capabilities of their processors in the most agnostic ways
Et Pourquoi Pas ?
Creating these trailers is also viewed as an opportunity for creative expression and a fun endeavor for the Trinnov team as well as partnering with some of our closest clients and industry partners. From the sound designers and mixer to the companies responsible for all those immersive sound formats
Being mostly engineering-driven does not mean we can’t be creative on the artistic front, a lot of people in the team are either musicians or sound designers/mixers. As a company, artistic endeavors are always a big part of our intention, from designing a new piece of software/hardware to creating our new immersive audio center in Le “Grand Paris”
Collaborating on these with our partners and clients also lets us better understand the challenges they face as well as the tools they need to accomplish their task, and the learning curve can be steep from mixing to encoding !
