The Dutch magazine Music Emotion reviewed the Amethyst at length in a two parts in-depth review available in their April and May issues.
Ruud Janker, who went at length to understand the system and test on an already excellent system concluded his review as such:
The Trinnov Audio Amethyst is actually a derivative of the professional Optimizer system for
studios and works with the same basic technology. The offered functionality goes far beyond
the knowledge of the acoustic average user. That is not at all problematic, as the user base
are more than sufficient to address. problems in acoustics and speakers There is then a
preamp / corrector that sets excellent results. For many consumers is a valid option when
structural alterations difficult achievable.
