While many room correction software products exist on the market, few do any good. After trying several, I gave up on anything short of a total room rebuild. That was before trying a Trinnov Audio loudspeaker/room optimization processor and measurement mic.
Playing reference tracks, I was sold. Not only was everything more balanced and more precisely located, but the center image was also impressive. Vocals floated between the speakers with solid authority. Obviously, I reached for the checkbook.
My results are beyond what I could have hoped for. They should change their motto to "Trinnov; come for the frequency curve, stay for the phase coherence."
My explanation of the NOVA's processing may be an oversimplification, but the impact on my work is what's most important. I can speed up decisions and have fewer recalls. Conversely, I provide better feedback when a mix has stereo, time-based, or reverb concerns. I thank the NOVA for that as well.
With the Trinnov NOVA, I’m squeezing that last bit out of my room. The resulting speed, accuracy, and decision-making means this unit has paid for itself in weeks.
